Diving options; If you wish to SCUBA dive ( there is snorkeling only with the whale sharks) it can be arranged instead of whale shark day. There would be no additional cost and regulator and BC rental would be $20. A 3 day extension with hotel would be $360. for diving with rentals and $180. for the hotel room dbbl occ. The mine sweeper wreck usually has eagle rays,the statue museum is shallow and there is 30foot reef diving.
